This policy explains how SignalForge collects, processes, stores and protects the personal data of visitors and clients, in accordance with the GDPR EU 2016/679 regulation and Romanian national legislation.

SignalForge may collect the following categories of data:

• Contact data: name, email, phone, company, correspondence address, for quotes and communication.
• Automatically collected browser data: IP address, browser type, language, pages visited, visit duration (anonymously, when using Google Analytics or similar tools).
• Form data: information submitted through the contact form, quote request, or AI chatbot interaction.

3. Purpose of data processing

• Providing quotes and communicating about web development, chatbot, automation and other IT services.
• Improving the website and adapting content to user needs.
• Fulfilling legal obligations (for example: invoicing, financial records).

4. GDPR legal basis

• Consent (for example: contact forms, newsletter subscription if applicable).
• Legitimate interest (for example: analyzing site usage to improve it).
• Contract fulfillment (ordered services).

5. Who can access the data

Data may be accessed by:

• Hosting, email, communication platform or SaaS providers we work with.
• Development or IT consulting partners (if we work together with them).

6. Data storage and deletion

Data is stored on EU servers or in a GDPR-compliant cloud environment.

Data of non-client users will be kept for a maximum of 2 years from the last interaction, then anonymized or deleted.

Client data will be kept for 3 years after contract termination, in accordance with legal document retention requirements.

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• request correction or deletion;
• restrict processing or stop direct marketing;
• withdraw consent (if the basis is consent);
• file a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing, if you believe your data is being processed unlawfully.
